Why is obamas approval( or should I say disapproval) so high?

All of the polls I see (show of hands app, fox news, local newspaper, and hillsdale university newsletter) show obama to be disapproved by about 60% (they vary by a percent or 2). But when I turn on msnbc or NBC it is 45% approve 43% disapprove and 12% of something. Ik candidates and politicians sponsor fox news and NBC owned networks, but my show of hands poll app is run by a private company. On this app u select yes or no if u approve. Very simple. Anyways, somebody explain to me, using facts( provide sources otherwise your answer will not be credited) and proof as to how NBC can distort news so much, and also explain to me(also using facts and sources) how the tea party relates to the klu klux Klan.
