Why is nascar/ car racing considered a sport? Do you think its a sport?

Yes I consider it a sport. And if you don't consider it a sport then that is your opinion and it is not up to me to convince you otherwise. And whether or not you consider it a sport is separate from whether or not you find it entertaining, anyway.
 
You should be asking your teacher in school so you can get professional advice. I thought NASCAR was a glazed dough-nut
 
Well you really have to think about it, when driving around in your normal car its pretty easy to turn, but the faster you go the harder it is to keep the car from swerving and sliding all over the place at 70 miles an hour, now think about trying to keep a 3400 car going 200 mph in a sharp corner with 3 cars lined up in front, behind side to side with 110+ degree heat in a very small space and 800 pounds of force going in a corner for 3 hours... to me.. yes.. its deffinetly a sport.
