...my 1997 Ford Escort LX? I recently installed a Sunpro SuperTach II in my 1997 Ford Escort LX and it seems to read out fine at idle (about 700rpm) but then when I start driving it's shifting around 1500 - 1600 rpm, and if I really mash it then it shifts out of first around 2600 rpm.. shouldn't these readings be about double what I'm seeing? There's no way my red line is 3000 rpm.. or is it? Could this be a bad ground?... all the connections look good. Also, I have the tach set to 4cyl, so I know that's not the issue.
