Why is my Sidekick LX doing this? Please help! (READ REST!)?

Ok. so I'm gettin really upset. My Sidekick died. So I plugged it into tha charger. Let it charge. Turned it back on. N it sayz all my songz are on there n stuff. But my inbox is emty, n my contactz are emty! All my pictures are still there too. How can I fix it. I've turned it off and back on. And on of tha timez I did that, my inbox was showing messages and stuff was workin again. And then it messed up again. Please help!!!!!!!!!!
 
Did you by any chance take out the battery while the phone was still on? Because if you did you've done what's called a hard reset. Your music and photos are most likely saved on your memory card, but your contacts and messages are deleted.
