Why is my right eye changing color?

Pigment in the front layer of the iris (called the stroma) colours the iris. Eye colour lightens when pigment granules drop in number, or when the granules make a lighter colour. The iris can also lose colour if the pigment degrades. Eyes, unlike skin and hair, do not synthesize colour pigment continuously. Instead, eyes keep pigment granules made earlier. So, if the pigment degrades, the eye colour lightens. Eyes can also change colour with age - but that is surely not your problem. Eyes may also change colour due to disease. Hopefully, that is not the case, but do consult the doctor to be absolutely sure.

I was born with olive green eyes. Over the last week, my iris has started to fade and turn grey. I woke up this morning and saw that only a bit of green was left near my pupil. I know that whatever it's called when that happens begins with an h and happens to little kids, but I'm 14 years old. I haven't been experiencing any of the symptoms that come with the diseases either. Will this be permanet? Why is only
one eye doing this? I mean it looks pretty but I want to make sure it's not dangerous.
