When a guinea pig is happy they make the whinning squeeking sounds. Thats a good thing! they love to be held! They also purr when they're happy. My guinea pig does it all the time.

Well it sounds like he wants his mom they wine when the are away from there mom you should keep him with his mom boy and girl baby piggies can go together your doing wrong keeping him away from his mom and sisters put them with each other
GOOD LUCK XD

It usually depends if the guinea pig is a male or female, and many other things.I know from experience that guinea pigs can squeak for no reason at all. Try peting him, giving him something to nibble on (carrot, celery, broccoli, apples, etc.), and talking to him. Sometimes he'll probably stop squeaking, but sometomes he'll keep on whining. Hope that works for you ~ ♥BillieBobJoe♥

Baby piggies want lots of attention. Whenever my girl cried as a baby I picked her up. Chances are he likes it and is just learning to love you. Piggie noises are complex, a whole other vocabulary, so pick up a good Guinea Pig book. Otherwise, it sounds like he is happy. Congratulations on your piggie!
