Why is my olympus e420 taking green tinted photos?

I bought a new camera which I received yesterday, and it was until earlier, but has suddenly started taking yellowy/greeny tinted images. I've tried changing the settings, I've changed the camera modes, I reset the settings altogether and even changed lenses and yet the camera still takes tinted pictures, inside and outside.
Also, when I switch the camera to live-view mode (shows exactly what the lens sees) it shows pretty much an entire green screen, with bright lights infront of the camera showing up slightly.
 
I think Sentimental has a valid suggestion but the problem is that it appears you didn't get this camera locally. "Received it yesterday" suggests to me that you ordered it.

Verify that it has a warranty, and contact Olympus Customer Service immediately with your issue. There's a good chance that the problem isn't so much an equipment malfunction as it is an operator one and they should be able to walk you through the problem within a few minutes.
