I understand how there is the "sweet spot" for lens, and that being wide open to f/1.4 won't be AS sharp as it at f/2.8 or so.
But my shots (with a Nikon D200) at f/1.4 are VERY hazy...and the camera metering tends to over-expose by +1/3EV at f/1.4 and I know I can use eposure comp. to fix that, but it that normal?
I've heard that it kinda depends if you got a "good copy" of the lens, right? Does this mean I got a bad copy?
