...windows XP? Having added the printer using its IP address, it displays ready but when i try to print a test page it does not print but pends until it displays "error printing document". I know some factors could be responsible but I cant ascertain them. For example, when I had same problem with one of my systems, i went to the "Port" tab in "Properties" to reconfigure the printer port to LPR and its settings, which worked perfectly. However, this time the XP laptop in question is defying the setting after all. Is it that I need to uninstall some other printers on the laptop before it works?????
