A friend of mine has just given me a (practically new) Motorola Devour. Her brother-in-law was using it and switched providers leaving her with the phone. When I txt her phone (Verizon) she receives a "2/2" and the end of the msg that I sent.. Also when I txt another phone (StraightTalk) blank msgs are received 9 times out of 10... My picture msgs go through without any problems. Is there a setting that may have been used by the previous owner causing these problems, or is it a technical problem? I also wanted to know if there's anyway I can delete his old account information and replace it with mine without having to contact verizon? He has his account info lock with a password that won't allow me to delete it.
Why is my Motorola Devour sending partial or blank msgs?
