Why is my internet browser on my palm pixi slow?

When I get on my Web app I go to facebook and it Neverrr loads, and I have to refresh it and it takes forever, anyreasons on why ? Settings?
Also, why doesn't my ringtone ever go off when I get a text, it only goes off when I get a call?
