It looks like this:
{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\cocoartf1038\cocoasubrtf290 {\fonttbl\f0\fmodern\fcharset0 Courier;} {\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;} \margl1440\margr1440\vieww9000\viewh8400\viewkind0 \deftab720 \pard\pardeftab720\ql\qnatural \f0\fs24 \cf0 \ \
My html looks like this:
<html>
<head>
<h2 align="center"><font size="6" color="#fcfa00">What the hell?</f></h2>
</head>
<body background="Martian Trees.TIFF">
<p><i><font size="6" color="#ff0000"
>A little bit better</f><i></p>
<p><img src="mmi with 'join us' 6.jpg"></body>
</html>
The background and pic are fine, the fonts are the right size and color, but the top of the page is a screwy and there are /'s and }'s throughout. Please advise, this is my first time playing with html.
I am writing the html in text edit, it has an .html extension. the odd text is seen when viewing it in a browser. What is the DOCTYPE? My tutorial didn't mention it. Must be a crappy tutorial. It just seemed easy to read, but I'm not getting great results. Must be on an old site.
