I am 24, fit and healthy, and once in a while, for seemingly no reason, my heart will be pounding so hard it literally becomes annoying! If I'm laying in bed, you can see the blanket over me move from my heart beat. Today, I went to take a brief nap after lunch, and my heart was beating SO hard, I couldn't sleep! It was driving me nuts! It was loud, and shaking me, and I just couldn't sleep because it was so obnoxious. This doesn't happen often, but now and then it will. And I've been told by doctors that I'm healthy as a horse, so I don't get it...is it stress? Anxiety? I only drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning, I don't drink soda...I don't consume that much caffeine at all. What else could it be?
