Why is my girlfriend acting so weird.?

I have been in a long distance relantionship with this girl for an year now. Everything has been good. Every time she come here, we always have a good time and we laugh together and all that good stuff, but once she goes back, she will call me for the first few days and tell me how much she enjoyed the time we had together. Then all of the sudden she will get distant and stop talking to me, when i try to call her phone she does not answer, nor return my calls until several days or weeks later. I have talked to her about this, and explain to her how much i care about her and love her, she tells me that i am the best guy for her and that she would never find anyone like me. Yet she does not call me or ignore me when i email her telling her how i feel. Honestly i do not know where this relationship stands because the last time i spoke to her she told me that she did not want to break up and remain in the relantionship, but she has not call me since then for an month now and when i email her she does not respond back. I am so confuse and do not know what to do.
 
All relationships need work but to me that sounds like hard work when your always wondering. Sounds to me like she isn't 100% interested, I know when I really care for someone I'm can't wait to see them or talk to them again. You should move on and find a girl that wants to devote themselves to you

It sounds like..she likes someone else at the same time. Or she lost her feeling for you and didn't feel wanna contact that much.

She lost contact with you? Are you sure she's safe now? Everything is possible for this case, try observing or let's have a serious meeting and clear with her about this.
