My 4-year old male german shepherd has lately begun whining when jumping up on the couch or bed. He circles around before jumping up, but when he does, he lets out a whine indicating something hurts. It's been going on for about 3 days now, and I'm going to bring him in to the vet. I was just wondering what could be causing this, could it be as simple as a pulled muscle? He's fine on walks, and even some running, it's the jumping up that he seems to be having trouble with.
