Why is my footage choppy when i add it to adobe premiere elements ?

Hey guys :)

i record stuff from my ipod touch 4g , put it on my pc , its totally normal , clean , etc ...

but when i add it to adobe premiere elements , its CHOPPY AS HELL :(

BUT ! When i export it , it goes back to normal again ...

its just annoying to edit with like one frame per second :(

Help ?

if ur not understanding the question , im asking why is my footage choppy , when i import it to edit it on adobe premiere elements ... but when i play it with vlc or watever , its okay ?

also XD ! with any other camera , it doesnt get choppy .
