We dated for 4 years but he ended it saying that he couldn't get his head around marriage. I was devastated and that was 6 years ago. Still we have kept in touch as good friends as he is a very nice person and his family are crazy about me. He moved back to his own country after the split. I visited him a year ago but made sure not to get 'involved'...don't want my heart broken again. His Dad told me I'm his only close female friend. I would call every few months/sometimes he would too but mostly me. Then out of the blue he has just sent me a long email telling me he's met someone really nice but like all relationships it has its problems. Then he said 'tell me when's a good time to call you...here's my number, we have to have a chat sometime, love'. Why is he mailing me now that he has met someone? Doesn't he want to move on? Any ideas?
