Why is my Dwarf Puffer Fish not eating?

So I have a freshwater Dwarf Puffer fish that has been doing fine for about 7 months now. But lately it has not been eating normally and it is getting very skinny. Nothing has been changed in the tank in about 2 months, other than filters and water changes. I'm just wondering if there is something I can do, or if it is just his time to go...
 
try changing the food. some live food or freeze's dried blood worms. puffers get board a lot. maybe it is tired of the food u give him.
