I have a weimeraner, shes is just over a year old and have noticed lately that she is licking a lot her upper thigh on the back right leg. I have tried to feel her leg and there is nothing unusual and she doesnt show any pain when we touch her. She mainly does it when we let her inside to sleep in the bedroom and after about half an hour of getting her to stay in her bed and not ours, she lays down and starts licking loudly! The skin is not irritated and she has had her dosage of flea medicine. I know she is still "puppish" so I dont know if this is an issue, or just attention seeking, as she chases her tale when she wants attention and we ignore her.
