I have a newly rebuilt Chevy 350, bored .060 over, has ~35miles on it. Every time I take it out driving and get above 40mph, it leaks (read: pours!) oil out of the front seal/timing cover area.
I have put a bolt in the hole near the fuel pump mount that has a habit of leaking oil.
I have installed a harmonic balancer repair sleeve.
The PCV line goes from the d-side valve cover to the air cleaner, and the p-side valve cover has a breather on it.
Also, the motor is mated to an SM465 tranny. In top gear (3rd), at 40mph it seems to be running high RPM (though I don't have a tach to verify this). much higher than 40mph seems to be pushing the motor/tranny pretty hard but this doesn't make much sense.
