This morning I hit a sewage drain that was sticking out in the middle of the road because the road was stripped. I hit it pretty hard and as I got onto the highway my car started wobbling. I assumed I needed an alignment so I took it to Mavis. They told me I could stand a balance also so I got both. When I went to pick it up, they told me that 3 of my rims were bent. I don't know if this is because of the sewage drain I hit this morning or if this happened previously but in any event my car WAS NOT wobbling before I hit the drain. Well, I drove it away and its not as bad as it was earlier but it is still wobbling somewhat. Based upon all the information I've provided can you please tell me what is wrong with my car? Thank you so much.
I have an 07' Yaris and unfortunately have NO IDEA what type of rims I have
Molitor: I don't know anything about cars but I was thinking the same thing: how could they have aligned and balanced it if the wheels are bent??? Looks like I've been had...not the first time with this place (I'll never go back there again)...but what do I do now? The city in which I hit the drain is going to foot this bill and I thought my next move should be to get an estimate on the bent rims...what do you think?
