why is my car still misfiring?

1999 Cadillac Escalade with 146k

my car has recently started to misfire i thought it would be an easy fix so far i have put new spark plugs, plug wires, dizzy cap and rotor in and its still misfiring the coil went out before this past christmas so i dont think its that since it was recently replaced. i dont know if the injectors are messed up or what but its running rough and running rich. my check engine light has been on from the camshaft to crankshaft position sensor my brother said he replaced that..... i need help
 
When in need of help with a car there is no better way to go than to a factory trained master mechanic. Instead of guessing at a problem you get an accurate diagnoses and repairs. A dealer master mechanic is familiar with the vehicle and has seen most of the problems that are common. Take a drive to the dealer.
 
Rather than continuing to throw parts at this beast (which can get expensive real quick), you must determine if it's a fuel, ignition, electronic engine control or a mechanical concern.
If you have any fault codes in the computer, you should address these first.
