The engine light came on about a month ago. I brought it back to the place I bought it. They said it came up on there computer and evap leak. So they lubed the gasket on my feul cap and reset the computer. The light stayed off for a few days and back on it came. I bought a new gas cap, I have to bring the car back to have the computer reset again. BUT....since the issue first started, it has stalled on me a few times in the past few weeks while driving. Now today it is just plain running like crap. Like it wants to stall ALL the time. Almost like its missing or surging for power. What could be the problem. As soon as I stop and put it in park it runs like a cramp! I was thinking maybe the fuel pump???? Any ideas? The mechanic also said that if its not the gas cap, it could be the vent along the fill pipe or a sensor in top of the gas tank!
