I am having a strange misfiring going on with my car.
It wasn't misfiring for many months and recently it started to.
The code showed cylinder 4 was misfiring (which is front center).
I changed the spark plug (the one in there was sooty black), the wire and even put in a new distributor cap and rotor thinking maybe that was the problem.
None of that fixed it and it still is misfiring from that one cylinder.
I have no more knowledge on what else it could be unless it is a internal problem that I cannot fix myself.
Any idea what could be wrong?
I wasn't in a accident or anything it just started happening for no reason at all. All the other cylinders are fine, including the one to the right and left of the front middle (the misfiring is the middle).
