LOOSING LOTS OF POWER? Hi, I have a 1992 Chevy Camaro RS V8 engine and the reason why I am writing to you guys because my car is constantly stopping in the middle of the intersection when i come to a complete stop. Ok I recently installed a starter because my old one wasn't working and I don't know why but sometimes I start my car it just makes a ticking noise and doesn't want to start sometimes and I noticed my "Battery Meter" it looks like there's no more juice or an old battery but I just bought a brand new battery that same day....and my meter reads only 1 volt not even a 8 volts.......ok soooo i drive this car and it runs pretty good and my "battery meter" shows 14 volts and I know that's standard battery level and out of no where it drops down to like 3 volts and just dies out on me when I am driving and also when I come to a complete stop I also noticed there were 3 cables under my starter and I didn't connect one because before I took my old starter off one cable was already off.....Is there something wrong with my starter? which is causing loss of power....Is there something wrong with my battery cables that links to my starter? or Is there something wrong with my engine that loses power and shuts off on me?...........P.S I also installed a brand new alternator and idol for my car......Thanx i hope you guys can help!!!!!!
