OK, I need some relationship advice. My boyfriend is ridiculously private about his phone. He gets messages from lots of women all the time. He says that they are just friends, but honest to god, it is starting to make me feel uncomfortable. We were out the other evening and he got a message from a woman and I happened to see the conversation length, and it was just super long messages back and fourth. I don't want to be a snoop, and I hate feeling like I need to see what is happening. He also has a passcode on his phone, and he takes it to the bathroom with him when he showers etc. Jesus, I want nothing more than to trust him, but he's making it kind of hard. If it has a password then why is he taking it into the bathroom every time? To message women? Just in case he thinks I know the code? Help. I know men are allowed to have female friends, but when do you draw the line? I don't know what he is saying to these woman and he will not show me the messages, he says he should be allowed to have privacy and female friends. I feel like i'm in a catch 22.
N.B. He puts his iphone in 'airplane' mode whenever he is at my house so he can't receive any messages.
We have been together for 6 months.
