Why is my 2003 Mazda Protege5 turning over and over when I try to start it?

I recently got the main fuse replaced because it wasn't starting at all (battery was tested OK and would only start after jumping it). Since then, it has a hard time starting, especially when it's been sitting awhile. It turns over and over and finally catches. It drives like normal, no signs of a poor battery. Could the mechanic have knocked something loose when we replaced the fuse?
 
You shouldn't wait 6 years to get a tune up. Have the car tuned up, or at least put in new spark plugs. You can have it OBD2 checked to see if there are any trouble codes telling of bad parts or conditions.
