I have about 105,000 miles on my 2002 Honda Civic. Almost 90% of these miles are what I would consider "highway miles" commuting to and from work (50 mile round trip) I noticed when this car hit the 90,000 mark that it was burning about 1 quart of oil every 3,000 miles. It doesnt smoke and it doesnt leak oil at all. Should this worry me? It runs great and I take care of this car very well and change the oil every 4,000 miles. What could be the problem? I use 5w-20 Havoline but have used other oils at the beginning like Advanced Auto's own brand. Can I do anything about this? I change my own oil I forgot to mention. Thanks for any feedback.
