no fish yet filter ran for two days washed gravel. is it just reg process
is it safe after 3 days to ad fish

Well did u wash the rocks? Di u leave it in the light all day? what type of fish is in it gold fish are very dirty. did u over feed . these are just a few things that can make it cloudy

Its part of your nitrogen cycle, The tank will cloud up for a couple of days and thats the bacteria finding a place to settle and making your tank safe for fish.

It is quite normal and i wouldnt add any fish at this time or change the water infact i would add more bacteria and wait 4-5 more days then add fish./

Edit: i have received a thumbs down but no post after it to show i was wrong.

It is not safe to add fish after 3 days. It can take upwards of a month to cycle a tank. The cloudiness is normal and will clear on it's own.
Since this is obviously your very first aquarium, I'll give you some really good advice. If you don't want your fish dying all the time, go to a book store, pet store, or your public library and get a beginner's book or 2 about aquarium keeping. It will explain all about cycling the tank (you need to add an ammonia source for the cycle to start), how to know when it is ready for fish, and everything else a competent aquarium keeper should know. The cost won't be more than a few fish would be, and will be priceless in teaching you how to manage your underwater environment. It's the single best investment in an aquarium set-up.

Oh don't worry that happens to new tanks. Do you have a filer? If so I will clear up in a couple of days.
