My old engine started overheating. The engine had an oval cylinder so I bought a new create engine from America. Now the only original parts left on the engine are the intake and exhaust manifolds, throttle body injection and EGR valve, Starter, Alternator, Air con pump etc. All new emission sensors etc. New Radiator and Air conditioning condenser. Replaced Automatic transmission filter and fluid. It has a auxiliary transmission fluid cooler between the Radiator and condenser which was also flushed before installation.
I have changed the Thermostat with a 1/8th hole drilled in the lip. Let it reach temperature with Radiator cap off and front of van elevated. Purged air from rear heater. Filled coolant with a 50/50 antifreeze mix. Had timing set to 0 degrees with EST in bypass mode by removing timing connector. Air condition system tested and recharged. Any advice gratefully received.
