Why is McCain discussing the bailout with Romney instead of Palin?

McCain is discussing the bailout with Mitt Romney of all people.

Why isn't he discussing this with Palin? Isn't SHE supposed to be his 'right hand'?
Lack of confidence in her maybe?

Thoughts?
 
because if you held a gun against Sarah Palin's head and asked her about the bailout she couldnt answer the question.... however she could probably tell you what kind of gun it is.
 
You mean you can't have a similar conversation with two people without the universe imploding?
 
Why is he not allowed to talk to any other person besides Palin? I didn't realize that was a rule.... I see McCain having Romney as an economic adviser of some sorts for McCain when he wins. Romney may not have been his choice for VP , but McCain knows Romney is strong on economics and business. I am glad the candidate of my choice knows who to ask for advice from... Hopefully your candidate will ask the right person for advice on his side as well.
