Why is it that when I discuss my family with atheists, they call me the product of

incest? I mean, is it a crime to have many aunts and uncles? My mother has 12 sisters and 1 brother. My father has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Why is that unusual?
I live in Mississippi.
