Why is it that the enslavement of the Irish is never discussed?

I have taken many history classes and none of which taught this. In fact, it was just last week that I learned the Irish were also sold as slaves. (No, they were not indentured servants, but slaves.)

Why is this not taught in history classes that deal with the history of Colonial America?

Why is this not in public knowledge today?
$andman- White European Jews got reparations from Germany, Switzerland, and other Nazi interests with the help of the US. I don't buy that is the reason..

Because they don't want us to know! Because they want us to believe that the only races to have suffered have suffered at the hands of white racists, and that they never enslaved their own people. They want us to feel guilty for questioning the transformation of America into a multicultural society. They guilt they inflict on us give them the power to take over our government, give upper hands to "enslaved non white races". The rain roads of America where built on the backs of the Irish and the Irish were seen as worse than blacks during that time in history. White people have suffered just as much, and the Scottish even more than other non white races. The Scottish have been the most enslaved race in history. But yet there's NO MENTION OF THEM, NO SCOTTISH HISTORY MONTH! We are still enslaved today, working for a false government that doesn't care about us.
