No, seriously. I've always wondered. I've seen alot of people here attacking games that are popular. Why is it that people do this? Several people like the game and enjoy it, why should your opinion against it matter to them? I've especially seen this for runescape questions. I'll see several people saying "runescape sucks" or "Go outside like a normal kid." as an answer to someones question. Not only is this against the rules because it's irrelevant, but the person is bashing the player for liking the game. This makes absolutely no sense. I don't like club penguin or halo. you don't see me going around answering that the games suck. I try to help as I can with what I DO know about the game. This form of trolling is proving to be a nuisance and very immature to not only me, but several other people who are just trying to get answers to a question. They aren't causing problems. They don't want to hear your opinion on the game itself. Nor will most of them really care what you think. So why do people do it? Enlighten me.
