I'm a freshman and i'd never played a sport in my entire life. So genius me decided to take up softball. High school softball teams are TOUGH! These girls are insane and they've all been playing since the were 5. I suck and i had fun at first but the girls on my team are very mean and rude and they've made it clear that a first timer shouldn't have made the team and they don't want me there. I'm not having so much fun anymore. I still don't understand how I even made it on the team.
I don't know if i want to do it again next year, but will a good college be less likely to accept me if I did softball one year and track 3 years? I'm still planning on doing track next 3 years but I didn't do it this year and I might not do softball anymore.
Please don't tell me how i don't have heart for the sport. I gave up so much to do this and I like it, I just hate the team and I get so nervous I don't want to play in games.
