Why is it parental kidnapping under US law even if a German court ruled that it is in the child best interest to live with her mother in Germany & the child is very happy living in Germany with her mother? The child is born in the United States, is a citizen of Germany & United States and has lived in Germany with her German mother since she was seven years old ageist the wishes of her American father. Because she told the judge in Germany, that she does not want to see her American father ever again, the judge in Germany issued a restring order against her American father. She only said that because her German mother told her to say that, because she wanted to make her mother happy. The child even says that her American father is handling her as personal property for not respecting her German mother wishes. Her American father says that what her mother did is no different than stealing personal property from the US, to Germany.
