why is it easier for me to strecth my left ear then my right one.the right

one is always painful then the left i went to a 10g and it slipped right into the left one. but w/the right one it took 2 days and it felt like it ripped open but i believe its just sore. but i would like to know is it always going to be like that eveytime i size up?
