Why is it being said that investing in GM (MTLQQ) is a bad idea?

I was thinking of putting in a few thousand on GM (MTLQQ) stock because its at .8 cents a share right now and with our government putting so much money into i thought it was a sure thing, but theres an article i found saying it would be a bad investment, however i couldn't fully understand what it was getting at.
