Why is having sex with a teacher rape?

its beacuse he is still consider a "minor"(under 18)
and she is an adult someone who is older than 18.
n most of the time its considered rape if a teacher does that.
 
Ok, here is a scenario.

Student, 17 years, teacher, 27. He is 6'2" 200lbs of pure muscle.
She is 5'2" and not very strong.

They have sex, and yet it's rape from her side?


Is it because she "abuses" a child, or whatever? Because if the emotion that's being abused is horniness, then that's not gonna go away with age.
No the guy is not 18. The girl is 27.
And duh, I KNOW IT'S RAPE BECAUSE IT'S AGAINST THE LAW DUH

BUT WHY DOES THIS LAW EXIST?
