Why is everyone raving about NBC's 30Rock?

I recently rented the first season of 30Rock, and have watched the first five episodes, but it doesn't live up to the hype on TV or its awards. It's funny, sure, but it doesn't endear me to it like the Office or Arrested Development. Is there a certain episode that I should watch that will win me over?
