so i always wanted to breastfeed. my mom said she breastfed me until i was 2 and i dreamed that i would be able to do it with my daugther. needless to say after much trial and tribulation that i wasnt able to do it. so we started buying expensive formula to make sure she would get all the nutrients she needs. and i decided that i wanted to give her formula until she was 2. she is almost 2 now and we have been giving her toddler formula faithfully. i feel amazing about my decision, it gives me some type of closure on my failed breastfeeding. but everyone has been giving me problems about my decision. family member, the doctor, strangers etc. i dont know what their problem is. the formula says to 36 months and i know of women who have breastfed that long. she only has one sippy full of formula a day now and she eats regular food the rest of the time. why shouldnt i give her formula, you dont tell breastfeeding mothers to stop breastfeeding. wtf!
why is everyone judging my formula over milk decision?
