People keep whining about "o well there will be more cub fans than astro fans". well guess what? cub fans would outnumber astro fans no matter where they play even at minute maid park and it's not like whoever has more fans automatically wins, the fans aren't the ones that hit the balls or throws the balls to the catcher.
and if no shite sherlock answers this question then this is to you: i HOPE the cubs get to play your pathetic mets in the playoffs; you say the cubs aren't going anywhere, well the mets have the worst bullpen in the league and if the starter doesn't go all nine innings, then the other team basically wins automatically.
even if they played in arlington, texas i don't think it would have made a huge difference. the cubs have been playing well on the road as of late (i believe they've only lost 3 games in their last 15 road games or something like that). and i bet cub fans still would have outnumbered astro fans.
hey tim g your a fucking douchebag. the cubs are in a division with 3 of the top 6 teams in the NL (brewers, astros, cardinals). so they are being chased by real competition. what's your sorry ass team doing? i bet they are in the NL west, where the entire division doesn't even belong in major league baseball.

I don't think it would have mattered where the games were played. The Cubs fans go wherever they go. We are true Blue fans. I don't see what the big deal is.

What no one seems to realize that Texas was flooded! Money was involved and since Selig has pull in Milwaukee, it had to be played. So, until everyone gets on the same page, ie money, than I guess people are going to be pissed no matter what

I have no idea, it's not like Miller Park has never been used for a "nuetral site" it was used last year for the Angels v Indians due to snow in Cleveland. it has a roof so that if it rained they could still play the games.

I was always told "There's no crying in Baseball"

Selig team is the Brewers okay. Now there 3 teams chasing the WIld card in the NL. Brewers Phillies and the Astros

Selig made sure his team had every advantage of making the playoffs and making the Astros face the Cubs in Mil. Knowing that there will be 25k screaming roaring Cubs fans.
