I bought an acid wash denim jacket today, in the shop I tried it on with my dark blue skinny jeans.. so they aren't the same colour denim..
But I actually thought it looked alright! I was wearing a floral top underneath.
I don't understand why denim on denim frowned upon, in this case two different types of denim worked well together, but I still won't have the guts to wear them together because it's frowned upon!
I agree some denim on denim outfits can look terrible, but when done tastefully - it looked quite cool.
What are your views.. just out of interest?
