I enjoyed it until they started with the vampire arc, and that is where more and more characters with more and more backstories are added, killed, remembered, and then forgotten. Most of the characters (e.g. Rukia, Chad, Isshida) have seem to lost their touch in friendship and screentime, because new characters (i.e. Vizards, Arrancar, people that haven't fought) need to look special. The fight scenes look cool, but there does not seem to be much consequence for people that are already dead, and according to the beginning, hollows are human souls with grudges, but instead they get backstories of themselves being evil. And now the story has gone back to it's roots where Ichigo lives a normal life, but finds a surprising twist. So, while Ichigo is still in his town, One Piece and Naruto are out conquering the world. Still, Bleach is one of the most popular. Why?
