Wouldn't Obama torture terrorists if god forbid something happened tomorrow ?
Why was it wrong when Bush tortured terrorists only for the sake of American people so that he could prevent future attacks
Therefore the question being is this " Prosecution of Bush admin official " is just a mere politics played by democrats and Obama in order to destroy the Republican party from its core so that in next 100 yrs they would never get elected democratically in the elections

you people need to get back to the REAL world, were the rules and laws we have hear ONLy apply here an no where else...

the bad guys are NOT playing by your rules or laws...they just want us dead! ok?

so like in a fight in a getto, were there are NO rules, in this world we have to fight win no rules...we have to fight to win!

on after the ENTIRE world is civilized THEN can we go by the rules and laws, etc

think of this, what good would it do to us to go by the rules and laws only in the end to be wiped out by a nuke blast from the terrorists?

There once was a land of laws and human rights. It wasn't perfect, but it tried and thereby gave everyone a chance at a happy life.

One day a village idiot left his village and accidentally ended up on the throne of this wonderful land. He, being a fool, thought he knew better than the wise men who created this magical land how to run things.

Well, first he went on a pleasant vacation. Upon returning from that restful trip, he decided to take another one. Then, one day, while being read to by children much smarter than he, an evil sorcerer sent his minions to attack the land.

Well the fool, thinking he was now wise (and believed to be wise by all his followers) decided that the land of laws should be made a land of fear. Only this way could he keep people safe (and keep his power after showing how ineffective he was). Luckily the fool had an evil sorcerer of his own.

Together they imprisoned all that were different, torturing those who spoke strangely. It didn't make anyone safer, but it made the fools feel safer.

After years of fear & oppression (and limited "Free Speech Zones") the people rose up & sent the fool back to his little village. They decided to give up fear and try hope to carry them to the future. Of course some of the fools remained to try to return to their glory days of fear, telling everyone how wonderful and safe they were when fear reigned over the land.

Now that we have that fairy tale out of the way, maybe we can get back to the facts of the last administration trying to destroy the Constitution (except the 2nd Amendment, of course) and breaking all laws and treaties on human rights. Shrub failed to protect us on 9/11 and all he did after was pi** the world off at us and create more people who want us dead. Torture never made us safe, otherwise Cheney wouldn't have had to make up WMD in Iraq (which he got from his Iranian friend who no one speaks of now). Bush locked up the most dangerous "terrorists" in Gitmo, tortured them for 3-7 years & then let 500 of them go without any charges or trials. How many of them went home with tales of love for the Americans? How many of them went home so filled with hate that they wanted to kill all Americans? Is that making us safe?

Anyone remember what Rumsfeld said to the GIs in Iraq when they asked about body armor & armored vehicles?

"As you know, you go to war with the army you have," Rumsfeld said. "They're not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time."

These are the guys that say Democrats don't care about the military. They're also guys who dodged any service in the military.

If these guys hate me, I'm proud of that distinction.

So.... what now..... torture is ok now? It will be pleasure to torture you later - you better watch your back.
