I made the mistake of going to an expensive shop. The Bureau of automotive repair is paying $500 for my cat repair. But the shop is charging me $255 extra. If I didnt do the repair with them. They will take $203 from my state credit. So no sense in the hassle of going to another shop. When they will use almost 1/2 of my assistance. For their 3day diagnostic testing. I feel Im being treated unfairly. After all I recieved this assistance for being low incomed.
Thank you everyone. As for comment number 4. Thank you also. That seems kind of harsh. I don't expect hand outs. But you don't even know me. I am a single mother of five. I work part time & seasonal jobs. Ive been serving God for over 16yrs. I help many people myself. In different ways on my own through church ministry. I do thank you though. For telling me to quit complaining. Because God knows that I am able to get this extra money to pay the charge. So maybe I am getting off easy. But at the same time. My question was about being treated fairly. Also I praise God in this. Because if I did go to a cheaper shop. Maybe the quality of repair would of been bad. Because I try my best to take care of my car. Since I drive my children around. However I haven't been over charged in minor repairs. Such as brakes oil changes etc. Because my father rip taught me some things. But this shop fixed my old car in the past and I was very happy. So I went back there. So again your probably right. I g
