Why is 1999 ford mustang gt misfiring when it rains?

Specifically ignition coil # 8 (in cylinder 8) keeps going bad when it rains and I replace it which temporarily fixes the problem. There is no water sitting on top of the intake manifold or it doesn't seem like water is seeping under the hood from the back as the seal on the edge of the hood and car looks fine. The spark plugs were all just replaced and IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO CHANGE ALL THE COILS JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE REPLACING ONE (CHECKED WITH FORD ON THIS). The car uses coil on plug configuration so it does not have a distributor or spark plug wires. Problem seems to have to involve moisture.
