Why in the world did Ducati stop making the Sport 1000 Classic?

Why is a good question!
So plan a trip to Italy, visit their production site and don't leave until you are satisfied with their answer(s) or escorted out the door by Guido and his cousin Josepho (they aren't the Marx Brothers).

I might add that I too like the cafe styling but it appears that sales were not strong enough to support massive production. Oh Well, that just makes the ones that were produced that much more valuable in the coming years.
