I agree with everything you said, except that Beethoven's music is listened only by spiritual people. According to the standards of his time, Beethoven's music was "laic" , addressed not to the divine, but to the general public. His music, even to the standards of today, is far from being serene and tranquille, but full of contrasts and of a vivid dynamism. Expressed in Beethoven's music are states of mind and emotions from dark resentment to dreamy butterflies, from anger to peace, from lust to purity, from rebellion to arogance.
