...the Baghdad Cathedral? http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/over-50-catholics-die-during-terrorist-attack-on-baghdad-cathedral/
"On Oct. 31, gunmen linked to al Qaeda took over 120 faithful hostage at the Syriac Catholic Church of Our Lady of Salvation during Mass, demanding the release of al Qaeda prisoners in Iraq and Egypt.
"After the Iraqi military raided the church to free the hostages, over 50 people, including 3 priests, were killed. Vatican Radio reported that between 70 and 80 people are seriously wounded from the attack, many of them women and children."

"On Oct. 31, gunmen linked to al Qaeda took over 120 faithful hostage at the Syriac Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Salvation during Mass, demanding that the Coptic Church of Egypt release the wife of one of its priests, whom the extremists claim voluntarily converted to Islam and was locked up by the Church."
Why do we bend over backward to accommodate Muslims when it ends up with them attacking and killing us? If someone draws a cartoon about Mohamed, Muslims feel free to attempt or actually kill the cartoonist...and liberals everywhere denounce the cartoon's insensitivity. But when Muslims kill Catholics, both moderate Muslims and the liberals among us stay silent. If as many Muslims and liberals assert Islam is a "religion of peace", why then are Muslims killing Catholics and in their own church? Or is the statement, "Islam is a religion of peace", just another politically correct lie?
For those that would not defend us, remember these words well:
"First they came for the communists and I didn't speak up because I was not a communist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn't speak up because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for ME, and by that time no one was left to speak up."
